A start will be made in mid-Nov on rebuilding trails in the cut over areas at Arapuke (K-Loop). A trail plan for the whole area has been prepared by Jeff Carter from NZ Trail Solutions and following this plan the first of three trails to be built this summer will descend the face to the East of the main logging road.
This summer the "About Time" block will be logged and work on that area will progress over the 2012 winter.
Trails are being jointly funded by PNCC and MMBC.
